How are you?

I'm not feeling well. 39 Celsius and full of pimples.

It's been a while since i browse for fun. But anyway, since the job has taken 90% of my social life, and i ended up tired everyday. God's knock me out and gave me a fever and cold, so i had a free day(s)! yay!

Looking down to the unemployed, poor people, or the beggars. I am blessed. But am i blessed enough to be a 2-shifts labor slash modern slave, with a price of one shift labor? With all the pride and a-rated tribute from surroundings.

Nothing is came easy, i know. I never complained about the boss(es). But i feel weaker and weaker, since i skip the gym and dance class. Am i happy with my condition? no.

Additionally, i don't have days-off, because weekend is just another day to prepare my three cultures wedding, in different city. You know how many vendors involved, when you have a wedding in Indonesia.

All i wanna do now is help my mom to prepare my own wedding, that should be taken care of. And i only have less than 24 hours to meet all my vendors, which obviously fully booked on weekend. And it's h-2 months. I'm going crazy, i don't know what to do.

Review - Dian Kenanga

Sebagai korban iklan sejati, dan karena migrain pertama gue di kantor ini telah terjadi, disusul rentetan kepeningan berikutnya. Akhirnya, gue memutuskan untuk coba totok aura wajah di Dian Kenanga. Yang tentu saja, mengerikan.

Pertama. Dari namanya aja udah ngeri : totok aura. Gue semacam akan melakukan tindakan klenik untuk kecantikan, tinggal pasang susuk, jadilah gue minta sate 10 tusuk sama bang bokir di pantai selatan. Tapi ternyata, menurut teman-teman di FD, sebenernya itu adalah totok yg fungsinya untuk kesehatan - semacam ngelancarin peredaran darah gitu, yang fungsinya menyembuhkan migrain, sinusitis, dsb dalala-

Kedua. Sebagai gadis rantau, ngeri gue ngebayangin keruwetan jalan dari Kemayoran ke Ampera/ Pejaten/ Depok. Gabisa apa ya bikin gerai di pusat heheh..

Ketiga. Pengecut. Gue itu pengecut. Seumur hidup belum pernah deh nyobain facial, karena gue ga sudi muka dipencet2 sama org lain yang gak merasakan kesakitannya. Refleksi gasanggup terlalu geli. Pijat ga kuat keras-keras, sukanya cuma dipencet-pencet. Creambath gak suka. I simply think that di kepala gue banyak syaraf, dan hanya orang-orang yg kompeten yang boleh megang, bukan orang salon dengan training seadanya.

Akhirnya, dengan berbekal review meyakinkan cewek-cewek lain, di suatu weekend, ditempuhlah jalanan kelak kelok Kemayoran-Ampera.

Hasilnya?

SAKIT. Sumpah ga kuat.
tapi lama-lama Enaaakkk!! Lama-lama segar, apalagi sesudahnya dimasker -yang terakhir gue lakukan 4 tahun yang lalu- .

Therapist nya juga well trained bgt, mijatnya gak asal.. Tempatnya standard sih, tapi yang penting bersih!

Harga: Gak mahal-mahal amat, Totok wajah 45 menit itu 115K (baru naik katanya), lulur 110K, dll.

Kesimpulannya : Ketagihan! 

the new circle

Posted in another desk, another circle, another peers.

My first week was as depressing as i imagine before. You know-the monday mode. Monday mode which happened EVERY DAY, well, mostly everyday.

Right in time when i need spare time the most, to figure out something, planning something, and execute it smoothly. I don't have such thing.

Anyway, long story short, i think i can handle the job, maybe because my ex boss in my previous office is, well, frankly speaking, can shout like a wolf, and destroy everything -doorknob and wooden desk- . So i can stand all those yells, just because, i am used to it. And i don't really care about the workload, i once work with 5 computers and 3 keyboards, so i can handle one, hopefully.

but..

i can't handle my morning mood. Imagine a 7-8 regular working hours - I barely have my beauty sleep ha-ha! and i have to wake up at errrr 5 AM everyday, which is very challenging.

I need friends who wake me up everyday, or i'll unconsciously wake up at 8 !

DIY and free printables

I pretty much loves everything DIY since i was 10, when my teacher told me to knit a baby clothes (!!!!), got a good mark, and being displayed in school exhibition. I'm a proud student back then, i made dolls, i master various stitches style, i even made carpet!

My favourite thing is Silk Painting. I learn how to paint di Ci Ratna, guru craft terkenal di Bandung. Waktu itu lukisan gue ikut dipajang di Ina Craft, tapi not for sale karena that was my first painting dan sekarang entah dimana. 

Sekarang, setelah kerja 4 tahun, dan almost gak pernah lagi ngelakuin hal-hal spt itu, dan kerjaan lagi membosankan, i browse, and i found this Free Printable Owl Calendar. Cuma nemu printables aja rasanya udah seneng banget! <3

Nanti kalau udah punya rumah sendiri, pengen semua di print goodbye rumah minimalis.

Review - Cupcake Arromanis

I have tried cupcakes, a LOT, and reviewed it one by one -saved in my notepad, errr, and i forget to publish it here- . So here is my 1st review, my friend's cupcake: Arromanis. Arromanis' claim its cupcakes are made with less sugar and less milk, with a choice of Red Velvet, Green Velvet, Marble Cupcake, topped with assorted toppings (cream cheese frosting with strawberry / matcha powder/ sprinkles/ almond/ corn flakes)

The Package

 I love the package! Instead using a mass, plain cupcake packaging from a shop (i know, because i made cupcake too :p), she made it well designed, and tough, as it might delivered to other cities outside Bandung as well.

Sorry i didn't take the pic -sekali hap langsung abis, terlalu meresapi review nya nyam nyam- of Arromanis' RV.

At first, i thought the size is a regular size (d= 8 cm), so it was below my expectation when it came with a 3 cm diameters. But it's cute, remind me of a (slightly) bigger bakedbymelissa of NY. I first try the Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting, strawberry topped, and i LIKE it. The sour of strawberry, blend with a mixed of milky, cheesy frosting are somehow give me my mouth a mild sensation of Red Velvet. Or, it might be just because i finished it in my 3rd bites, so i got no 'weird-chemical' aftertaste, -usually from the excessive use of food coloring-. It slightly taste like Seradella, because it also topped with strawberry.

So, in conclusion, as a RV reviewer (not maker, phew), i prefer Arromanis than Alma, because of its less sweet taste, and to Seradella, for its price.

Green Velvet

It might be my very personal opinion, because i used to review RV only. But i don't think that Matcha powder is an appropriate taste for a topping, because of its bitter aftertaste. For the cake, it's  not as moist as the RV, blended with (might be) too much Matcha Powder. I've tasted Green Velvet at Kitchenette, probably made by Alma, CMIIW, and it taste blah. So, in conclusion, i might not fall for this cake, i might fall for ocha, green tea shake, or green tea milk, but not for cupcake :(

Marble Cupcake

I LIKE IT! I personally think this is Arromanis' best. It taste like banana cake without banana chunk, it is soft, moist, light, and came with a beautiful color burst, eventhough sometimes the excessive use of food coloring bothers me.It amazed me how Arromanis doesn't give that weird-aftertaste-food-coloring-effect taste in my mouth, good job, Arromanis! :)

For the topping, i love the frosting, even sometimes it's too milky for me. For that kind of 'milky' taste, its best companion -para mi- is strawberry! I also love sprinkles, but i'm not a big fan of almond-flake, because it's not crunchy enough to be a topping -drolling for a nougat topping of Union's RV-. , and the least, Matcha topped, which is shaped very well, a cute star, but taste bitter -hello, it's matcha powder, what do you expect, karin? dimana-mana rasanya sama, pahit!-

P.S: I think you can also order the regular size as well, if you are a cupcake monster like moi.
